Temple of Vedic Arts "Bhakti Tree" is a cultural and educational representation of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, ISKCON in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador

The idea of creating multifunctional Bhakti center arose in the 90s.

Prahlad Narasimha Prabhu was the president of Cuenca Ecuador and help to open Temples, Govinda’s restaurants from the very beginning of his spiritual activities in ISKCON.

He also opened preaching centers, Farm Community Giridhari Desh and held namahattas, showing the society of Krishna Consciousness in a very beautiful aesthetic manner, as it is!

In early 2020, with the blessings of His Holiness Jayapataka Swami, prabhu returned to Ecuador. And the construction of the “Bhakti Tree” begins very quickly.

All projects in this space with all aspects of the culture and wisdom of Vaishnavism are involved in the service of humanity.

The creation of the Bhakti center began with a Kirtan Yoga hall "Adhikara" and a Veggie Bistro with the symbolic name "Good Karma", where visitors receive a variety of pure food called “prasadam” (mercy of the Lord).

Down to the smallest detail, are thought out by Prahlad Narasimha prabhu himself. He put his heart into this project and all the resources, sparing no time, money and effort.

The Ayurvedic "Devi Day SPA" offers care for the Cuenca women close to the prabhu's family, of which there are hundreds.

Cuenca women are very fond of taking care of their appearance. Therefore, the best alternative on our part was to offer them Ayurvedic care. is an Ayurvedic body treatment that harmonizes the mind as well.

The idea is that anyone who wants to join the Bhakti Three team will find a field of activity for themselves, since the Vedic culture is multifaceted and involves all talents.

Vaishnava culture is manifested here in universal human values.

Great importance in the “Bhakti Tree” is given to educational programs and spiritual guidance. Prahlad Narasimha Prabhu is regularly giving classes on Bhagavad Gita, Shrimad Bhagavatam and Mahabharata, the broadcasts around the world on various spiritual topics, holds kirtans, music festivals and concerts. And of course daily astrological readings, that provide guidance to countless people.

The second stage in the development of preaching Krishna consciousness was the reconstruction of the Giridhari Desh farm, which is officially registered in the ISKCON registry.

In the 90s, Prahlad Narisimha prabhu and Manorupa Mataji, his faithful wife, received money from Manorupa's parents with a request to build a house in the USA and open a business. Prabhu, being the head of the family, expressed to his wife his desire to invest this money in land in Ecuador and build a temple, creating an agricultural farm. Since the ISKCON in Ecuador did not have their own property. Manorupa was glad for this opportunity to serve.

Soon they arrived in Cuenca and found an ideal site at the confluence of two rivers at the foot of a mountain, not far from the tourist town of Chordeleg. On the way there was a shop they went to to find out the contacts of the owner of this land. And the walls in this store were plastered with the "Back to Godhead" magazine. It was a sure sign that this was the land.

The temple itself was created by prabhu on his own, with the help of several devotees and childhood friends.

It was an amazing time. While serving on this farm, the two sons of prabhu and Manorupa were born.

The farm prospered and delighted the devotees.
But in the late 90s, prabhu and his family left Ecuador, prioritizing the spiritual education of children in the spiritual environment of the Holy Dham. So they ended up in Mayapur.

For many years of his preaching work in the service of the mission of Srila Prabhupada, together with his wife prabhu traveled the world, conducting astrological consultations and seminars.

The farm did not find a new leader and the temple was simply closed for more than few decades.

And only at the beginning of 2022, Prahlada Narasimha prabhu got the opportunity to start reconstruction. And the blessings of his spiritual master manifested in beautiful service. The temple is completely renovated. It requires a lot of investment and enthusiasm. By prabhu's tireless preaching, this becomes possible.
